Convident is an ambitious web agency with online marketing services that has been around for over 10 years. From our office in Groningen (with several remote specialists worldwide) we are building an organization with 25 employees. Do you know everything about Wordpress and can you optimally serve our customers with their support issues? Then apply for the position of Technical support employee.

32-40 hours per week

What are you going to do?

Our customer portfolio is growing and so is the support and maintenance we provide for our customers. Performing maintenance packages, handling customer tickets, taking responsibility for our web servers and hosting, putting out internal support questions to colleagues and helping people when they have technical problems. Preferably, you are proficient in the Dutch language.


As technical WordPress support, in addition to your regular duties and responsibilities, you’ll have ideas for taking the support department and infrastructure to an (even) higher level. Every working day you start with the team with a day start. Together you discuss the progress of the various projects and which activities are planned. You consult with each other to find the best solutions. You take into account the wishes of the customer. You are responsible for solving support issues. What we expect from you:

  • Experience with WordPress website security, backups and updates;
  • Experience with WordPress plugins, staging and security techniques;
  • Knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript/jQuery;
  • Available for 32-40 hours a week;
  • You will be responsible for maintenance reports;
  • You are reliable, precise and customer-oriented;
  • You have good communication skills (by phone, email and tickets);
  • You have a high sense of responsibility;
  • Preferably, you are proficient in the Dutch language;
  • Your knowledge stays up-to-date and you share new knowledge with the rest of the team;
  • Precise work and an eye for detail;
  • A team player with a sense of responsibility.


Nice to haves:

  • UX/UI design experience;
  • Knowledge of accessibility;
  • Ability to work with GIT.
