1: How did you experience the internship at Convident (in general)?
This internship was a rewarding period of development and growth. I was able to gain a deeper understanding of the industry while sharpening the skills I had acquired prior. Through the variety of tasks assigned to me, I was able to further my professional growth, leaving me with the confidence that I can use the skills I obtained to my advantage. Overall, I am grateful for the impactful experience my internship had on my personal and professional growth.
2. Were you well received by our colleagues (work atmosphere)?
Upon my arrival, I received me with kindness and openness. They made me feel comfortable and welcomed while staying professional and respectful. They opened up and were eager to assist if needed, providing me with the necessary guidance and support. They were patient and understanding, always displaying a willingness to provide help when I had questions. Through their kind hospitality, the colleagues made me feel secure in my new role and environment while affirming my potential for contribution.
3. Would you recommend future interns to intern at Convident?
I would recommend and even encourage future UX designer interns to pursue this internship. Not only will you acquire valuable skills and experience, but you will also have the opportunity to improve upon existing practices. It is an excellent chance to further your knowledge and gain hands-on experience in the field. In addition, you will have the chance to collaborate and work alongside experienced professionals in the industry.
4. What grade would you give your internship at Convident and why?
I would rate my experience in this internship a nine out of ten. Throughout these few months, I was able to develop and strengthen my skills, becoming more proficient in my professional field. Moreover, I had the opportunity to understand how a company like this operates and its emphasis on employee well-being. The attentive nature of their organization is evident in the meaningful communication that everybody shares while they work.
5. What will you take with you from Convident to the rest of your career?
The unique opportunities provided by this internship. Through this experience, I have cultivated a plethora of professional connections as well as a newfound respect for the industry. These many new experiences have given me an unprecedented understanding of the working world – as a student, I found this incredibly captivating and exciting. This internship has not only allowed me to explore the world of business, but also has instilled me with an appreciation for striving to become the best version of myself in my future business endeavours. Furthermore, I now understand the importance of always doing my best, no matter the situation, as well as the need to have realistic expectations when dealing with a business. All of these essential aspects, gained from this internship, have been invaluable.
