1: How did you experience your work at Convident (overall)?
Good! From the beginning I was well received and that feeling was mutual. This eventually led to a position where I enjoyed working for many years to come. There is room for self-development and suggestions for improvement are certainly appreciated.
2: Have you been well received by our colleagues (work atmosphere)?
From the start of the company in 2015 the company was still under construction, when I started working there were not very many colleagues but the colleagues who were there then helped me well on my way. And the working atmosphere was good, alternating a business attitude (when needed) with enough room for a more informal working atmosphere. Also, the colleagues who joined along the way were good to deal with and they are definitely looking for people who can complement the team in the right way.
3: Would you recommend future employees to work at Convident?
I see no reason why not. You work from a beautiful location in Groningen. You have colleagues with different specializations and knowledge that you can learn things from. There is a lot of flexibility regarding various issues. And for younger employees, it’s a learning place when you’ve just graduated, for example.
4: What grade would you give your work at Convident and why?
Convident definitely passed! Previous points largely reflect why. In a nutshell: Knowledge of various specialists you can go to with questions, room for further development and other things you are interested in and a very good working atmosphere.
5: What will you take with you from Convident for the rest of your career?
Knowledge of various programming languages, of course. A place in Groningen where you can have a cup of coffee, tea and a good conversation. And a nice stepping stone to a further career. Of course also things regarding substantive processes that I would do differently, but the knowledge of how some processes are applied differently at different companies.
